Santa Cruz Jazz Festival 2010

Welcome!

Welcome  to the Santa  Cruz Jazz Festival website. I hope you will be able to attend this year’s  festival March 16–17. This year is our 26th Annual Santa Cruz Jazz Festival and our third year at the new facilities at Cabrillo College in Aptos. What a gift it is to be able to have our festival all in one location at these new modern venues.

Not only do we hope you will be able to attend the festival but also to enjoy our wonderful city from the sea to the redwoods. Santa Cruz is a major tourist destination with something to offer everyone's tastes. Our biggest attraction is the historic Beach Boardwalk. It offers great fun for younger and older kids. Bring your surfboard or mountain bike and enjoy world class waves or mountain trails. If you parents want to drop off your children at the Boardwalk you can go and enjoy our local restaurants, wineries and breweries.

We are excited to showcase this year's guest artists, Audio Radiance.

In addition to the concerts listed above, we will again be offering various Master Classes throughout the two day festival and the Saturday Night Concert will be the Command Performance which features many of the highest rated and qualifying bands and vocal groups.

Again, the SCJF board and I hope to see you. Last year proved to be a great success and we anticipate that this year should be even better. The festival tends to fill up. If you plan to attend and perform, submit your application soon!

Thanks for checking us out,
Steve Gray, President, SCJF
